Barrels are made on centre lathes that are accurate in some cases to a tenth of a thou; paintballs however are made to a spec of something like plus or minus 30 thou...and so, any barrel is as accurate as any other and the real difference comes from the person who wields that barrel .....any other talk is BS!

how do different barrels make any difference in accuracy because they are all the same apart from the bore sizes , they arnt riffeld they are just a straight pipe , i think the best thing is to practice shooting with your set up and to get yousto it , and i thought the same thing get a new barrel and it should make a difference, but realy it didnt unless you get diferent bire sizes which will help abit but not alot . so realy just practice before you go buy a new barrel . hope that helps :D

Thanks!

Thanks guys that does help! Like i said before i've come from a tippmann background so Im used to playing the "lets guess where the next ball goes game"!!. That and we'd place bets on how many balls my cyclone could eat in one round!

I'll get used to the ego first then see what happens, Im also looking for a team/place to practice,,, any ideas??

Never a truer word spoken! Accuracy comes first and foremost with the player.

2ndly not breaking paint by having all your equipment set up properly will help. Shooting through barrel breaks is not something that is ideal nor will it win you games.

.
A lot of people just don't appreciate that though Bolt, maybe if they saw what I once witnessed when some ex pro shot ten paintballs in a row by throwing them up in the air with a marker that cost about 50 quid and had a stock barrel.

You don't really need to be much more accurate than that !!

Quality of paint > barrel upgrade

Try shooting an egg shaped paintball through a £100 barrel you just bought:p
