DO NOT BUY OFF "in_and_out_in_a_flash"

I am posting this as i have recently bought a 4500psi fibre wrap bottle off a person on ebay called 'in_and_out_in_a_flash' and it has been mutilated. If I had not been with vmaxnick (cheers mate!) then there is a very distinct possibility I could be dead or seriously injured right now.

The person who sold me this bottle firstly put a co2 burst valve into an air bottle and secondly had obviously cross-threaded the bottle and instead of accepting the fact that they've ruined a lovely Angel bottle, he wrapped the reg in aluminium tape and beat it onto the bottle!!!

If I had filled this bottle too just 200psi it could easily have popped off the reg and killed or injured me. Even worse, if I had been at a game and attempted to use an air table then others could also have been injured or killed.

Nick and I were so appalled at this reckless action that I feel I should warn others to be aware when they buy secondhand items from an unknown source. Hope no one else suffers this same situation as me.

Sorry to hear that mate get hold of this guy and tell him if i were you take this as far as it can go but as long as your ok thats all that matters i guess.

Have you started a dispute with Paypal and reported him to ebay yet?

Funny, On ebay the last deal this guy did was back in 2007, so have you not left feedback for him yet Brogan?

Thing is, they have made it that hard to leave negative feedback now.

I have never encountered anything so irresponsible as the idiot that sold this bottle on fleabay. Personally, I always strip and check used bottles before putting them into service myself but I can appreciate that many people feel if it's not broken don't fix it! However, in this instance, if Brogan had attempted to fill this bottle, I don't think he would have had a second chance.
Worst thing was, the reg was hammered in so tightly that it may have held a few thousand psi which would have had catastrophic consequences
Christ, it doesn't bear thinking about!
