This may sound daft, but why doesn't one of the board members contact FIFA and asked how they managed to arrange fast tracking visas and border problems for the Champions League cup final. OK they have more money and history but it may open a door to help.

Pete, if I understood you wrongly is because your english is sometimes too hard for foreigner like me. ;)

Regarding Millennium. Yes, board of Millennium was aware of most of the changes coming up in Centurio/ECS. We still got some issue to solve, but i would say we are far away from confrontation. In fact, some of the ideas we implement were given by board members of Millennium and I may say we were even encouraged to do so. I got quite good contact with all of the board members of Millennium. I do business with Stephen, Manfred, since couple of years already. I know Laurent from the time he was playing in Tontons. Recently I spend even more time on Millenium events cause I'm doing the pblivescores.com. We always spend some time on exchanging the information.

What do you mean we expand? In terms of countries where the event will take place this year there is nothing new. During 4 years Centurio itself were holding the event in each of 2009 location not too mention other events in Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Lithuania. What is new in 2009 is the conference system. Each year we got a lot of enquiries from different countries to hold Centurio event (including western europe). Each year we choosed at least one new location for event to bring the international competition and help to develop speedball in upgrowing markets. Even if not all of them were a huge succes, we were a kind of ambassadors of sport and that was the objective. Conference System let us continue the same policy while still having the main events in a consistent league. Every big company in paintball are watching those growing coutries not to miss the moment when it will be big enough to invest, but noone spent a dollar to help to develop it. Coming back to topic. We did not expand in terms of teritory. The only thing we want to achive is to make our league bigger and stronger by stimulating the grow of sport in eastern countries. Of course if any "western" teams is willing to participate they are more then wellcome and can count on traditional eastern hospitality :) , but our main area of interest will be always our home market.

Regarding Pedro. Estratego company was one of the major sponsor of Centurio Circuit since it's foundation along with companies like Procaps and CMC Maxs. We wish to continue a very succesfull cooperation with Pedro as a major sponsor of the Grand Tour. Except of the sponsorship contract and friendly relation there is no link between Pedro and board of Grand Tour league. The source of the misleading information is fact that since 2 years Mihaela Tudor (owner of Box Series, former board member of Centurio and current board member of Grand Tour) is in close business relation with Pedro. In past Pedro help as well Mihaela in organizing the events in Greece and Turkey. You may say it makes Pedro involved in our league, but on the same basis you should say that Centurio in 2008 was Procaps league, cause me (SKILL, Poland), Viktor Togaev (Triada, Ukraine), Nick Sobolev (APG, Russia) which makes half of the board are distributor of Procaps. You may belive or not, but we always separate our personal business from interest of league. In opposite to Millennium, board member of Grand Tour do not represent any international paintball brand, but only regional distribution. We have no hidden interest in promoting one brand over another, cause this day we are dealing with one brand next day it may be another.

I hope I clear out the situation a little bit. If you need any additional info, i'm ready to help.

Kind Regards from snowy Poland and all the best in New Year!

One more explanation about Moscow Event.

Indeed it is comparatively expensive trip to go to Moscow, but if you are looking for top level of competition in Europe, Moscow is definitely the place to go. We keep the PRO division open for this year in Moscow, to make it easier for Grand Tour PRO teams. However I'm pretty sure a lot of PRO teams will play in Moscow. From this year on the event will be hold by Russian Legion, who not only offer the clinics and sparring games with their main rooster, but will make sure the event will be at the highest organizational level.

Hi Tomasz - thanks very much for your reply, it's an extensive answer indeed !

However, I was always aware of your continuing dialogue with the Millennium guys but I think it fair to say, the recent publication of your schedule for 2009 wasn't exactly expected by the Millennium guys, do you concede this?

And if you do concede this, it implies a lack of communication between you and the Millennium for reasons that only you would know ..... I have my suspicions as to why but it would be nice to hear your side.

With regards to Pedro, he has an 'interesting' track record whilst on the board of the Millennium before being marginalised in a recent boardroom manouevre.
I was also aware of his close relationship with Mihaela but I find it somewhat difficult to accept he has no 'influence' on your board, the reason I ask is, wasn't he present in a recent board meeting you guys had????

I may be wrong but I understood he was there which is quite unusual if he has no other connection with the series other than a sponsor .....

And Tomasz, if a certain person begins saying things about me concerning agendas I may have, or even that I eat babies for breakfast, ignore him, he has done this before many times.
I've got no agendas outside of trying to make sure players / teams don't get screwed again.
I am not for one second implying you are going down this road, I just wanna make sure you and your organisation ain't gonna be used by 'others' for reasons outside of your present ethos of operation.

I'm sure Moscow Grand Tour event will be the most troubled.
RL company isn't a match to RL team. Team is great, company's not. Ask Russians - RL events had a lot of problems. RL is 'great' partner also - many projects they were partners at eather dies, scandalised or became sole RL projects.
I wish to be wrong (as I have to play there).

Argumentation sounds very familiar. Let's wait and see then, however I'm pretty sure, that doesnt metter how the event will looks like, some people got a ready post to publish.

I'm Russian.
it's all not true...
I think FurBeast some of unhappy competitor of RL. Because for the last two years RL do a great events and grown to most powerfull company in russian paintball community.
And now when RL replace APG in Centurio (grand tour), i expect some of like this words from "other users".

BTW APG do only one tournament in russia, moscow centurio! - Only one.

I'll never play in centurio, but i want try the Grand Tour.
