if you were to invent a training aid or alter something to help with a particular skill/method in training what would it be?

for me i'd take a frame and trigger and mount it to a base with a digital reader so people could practice walking their fingers on both handss, literally just a grip and trigger would be all, almost like a PC joystick.

what other ideas are out there?

you ideas already exist, I believe tadao's new board has settings purley just for training, with a new colour screen to tell you what training you'v get it set on, what your score is and other cool stuff.

for me, I think just a full sized reball field with someone to shoot back at you would be the best learning, trigger time makes much more of an improvement then any single peice of training, weather it be snapping, crawing, diving etc.

When you say 'trigger time' do you mean time actually playing or do you mean time practicing 'fanning (pulling) the trigger' ?
think he means actual time playing, at least thats what the reball comment previous leads me to believe.

A private field, plenty of paint per person (3 boxes plus) and a skilled player to offer guidance is in my opinion the ideal training conditions.

I agree, time onfield with paint and someone to critique your play is ideal. Otherwise, reballing is a great way to do all those paint-heavy drills and really put the time in on the cheap. If you're talking about stuff you can do at home; snapshoot out your door, walk the trigger while you're doing squats, practice changing hands/podding up etc.

bigger paintballls....then maybe you fools could hit something ;)
Well the way our sport was going in terms of firepower (which by the way is inversely proportional to how much skill is required to wield it) I was just about believing you guys were gonna end up going out onto the field of play with a bucket and a hose ..... might as well go the whole hog and liquefy our ammunition for all the skill it takes to shoot now

That old saying we used to see on 'T' shirts a few years back of 'one box one kill' could soon resurface in another form with 'one gallon one kill' in its more modern guise.

Hopefully, the meeting in Vegas will go some way to reversing this ridiculous, ultimately self-defeating path we have been on for the last ten years.
