hi
£6 per 100 is about the average price for a site fee for punters,
i wouldnt take your own paint bcause its garuntted that you will be noticed, this is either by a marshal catchin you filling up with paint, differnt colour fill or shell to the paint the ites using, i work at a site as a marshal and we spot people using differnt paint easily. some sites may allow you to take you own paint but itl be at a fairly high set fee.
dont forget that with entry price and paint cost the site owner has to pay for maintence, marshal pay, equipemt repair or buying new, resources i.e electricity or c02 everything liek this has to be covered before any profit can be made which is why there is a high fee on paint.
With paint your buying do you no the quality of it, as the site paint may be better and prevent hassel of breaks or even inacuracy.
before you take you own paint make sure your aloud as its like taking your own beer into a pub. Each site will also have their own way of dealing with people taking their own paint, you may be kicked of for the rest of the day or simply have your paint taken off you until you leave the site.
so just check before you take it and make sure its ok, or have you thoguth about walk-ons were you tend to be aloud to take your own paint (i think) or even joining a team were you pay £X per box (which tends to be decent paint) and have what id say as more fun then just atending punter days.
hope this helps
will

mate take the dodo's advise it is not wise to take your own paint to a site unless you have had the ok from them. like dodo said it is very easy to spot peolpe using there own paint. also is it really worth the trouble for a couple of hundred paint. i have had people like yourself come to a site that i used to work at and it caused to much trouble if you ask me.
play the game by there rules and you cant go wrong.
might be worth asking them if they will let you come to a walkon and rent there gear off them. then you will be able to use your own paint or even get site paint for a great price.

Nothing stupid about the question :) as a player he is looking to play for cheaper and £6 per 100 on the face of it seems expensive.

However as someone has already pointed out sites make all their profit purely on the paint and alot of the costs a running, staffing, maintaining a site or ongoing wether they are busy or empty.

Site guns tend to be typically Tipmanns and site paint tends to be typically robust to got through bushes, undergrowth and long storage times.

I took along some non site, quality tourney paint which I had spare and found out the hard way site guns don't like it, as I fired it turned into a glue gun  dripping paint out the barrel.

So we should offer advice on how to "sneak" paint purchased from ebay onto a site?He is blatantly aware that it is wrong(look at the wording of the question)!.As I said, what a stupid thing to ask!

He like many other people see the cost of what a site charges and then compares that with what you could buy a box on ebay or of alot of paintball shops and the maths doesent add up..

£6 per 100 £60 per 1000 £120 per 2000 from the site.

and you can a top tourney paint for paint for £30 for 2000

Rightly or wrongly he is looking at how to play more for less money.
