Bought item in the for sale section but he has not sent it and wont respond to msgs?

Hi,

I bought a freak kit from one of your members just under a month ago and the last message I got from him was him saying that he posted it, nothings come. I've pm'd him twice, once to ask whats going on and if he could check with the post office and the second time saying that if he does not respond I'll have to start looking at getting my money back with paypal but still nothing from him. I've never had to do this before and dont really want have to either.

Is there anything you can do to help ?

The member was Funky Diver - copy of some of the PM's below.

Have you checked with your local post office, i sent something last week to london by recorded and that went walkies and turned up nearly too weeks later at there sorting office!

Thanks guys, I did get an email from him saying that he would look into it but I have not heard back since - I asjed him for the tracking number so I could try my local post office but haven't heard anything back from him.

Could I be a pain and ask one of you to emailmsg him again - this is the second freak kit I've yet to see after paying for it - my first was lost in the post back in Australia a few years ago, at this rate it seems I'm destined never to own one !! :(

did you use paypal? if you did then start a paypal claim ASAP stating that you didnt receive the item, quickest and fastest way to get this sorted, also paypal will side with the buyer 99% of the time ;)

One of my team pointed me to this thread.

I didn't realise you hadn't got it yet, as after my email to you I've heard nothing so assumed you'd got it OK (and tbh been busy with other stuff in my life so didn't think to chase it up)

I'll dig out the tracking again, and check with the GPO. If it's not been signed for, I'll happily refund you mate, and claim it back myself. If you want to dispute the paypal payment, by all means do. :)

Will let you know soon as I've done.

And no, I don't visit here often, but you do have my email address :)

TFP Edit: I'll take this as sorted for the moment - any more problems send a PM to any mods and we'll take a look at it.
