I know this topic is gonna be in the wrong forum but there are reasons for me doing this, one of which is, i think it will broaden up to encompass other areas.
Anyway, as a lot of you will know, I used to write articles for PGi, did so for over 18 years in fact and I loved every minute.
My boss, Matt Tudor used to sometimes go mad at me for writing some of the things I used to but I never forgot one of his guiding pieces of wisdom and that was, 'Pete, when you write an article, I want half the readers to agree with it and the other half to be against it' .
Basically he wanted the articles to provoke debate, he saw that as healthy and whilst I never really wrote to this template, I think a lot of them maybe achieved what he wished, by default and not design.
Anyways, point is this, I still have a lot to teach people and one of the best ways I feel is by what's called the Socratic method and what's good for a Greek ancient, is good for me and so here goes :-
What do you guys think of tactics when it comes to paintball?
How much of a game can be contributed to tactics in terms of outcome, I mean is the game of paintball determined 50% technique - 50% tactics ?
Does a team need tactics?
How sophisticated should they be?
I want as many people as possible to contribute because it is only by canvassing opinions across the board will we sort this out ...so whatever you think, it doesn't matter if it sounds silly as hell, put it down and I'll make sure nobody gets flamed .... well unless Piper tries to tell us anything
