Just wondering if the weight is noticeably different between the DXS bottle and Pure Energy (or similar).

Wanna make my '09 (when I get it) as light as poss but still a little dubious about using a Stako (I know I know, they're fine...).

Had a "caress" of a Geo at training last weekend with a Stako and DAAAM that was light... would a DXS make a suitable alternative or shall I just stick with my PE Fibre?

Ta...

I have had one for a few months now and to be honest there isn't a big difference in weight when your on the field playing.
But it is a couple of inches shorter than a standard 1.1 bottle and a little bit wider as well (but you can get most 1.1 bottle covers to fit)

Seriously, it all depends what planet you're gonna be playing on. On Jupiter, your tank is going to be heavier due to the increase in gravity. And if you're on a plane, your tank won't weigh as much because it is further away from the Earth. So as Jupiter is dead far from the Earth, in theory it should be lighter. So I'd play on Jupiter if I were you.

another point worth noting is the unique quality that slides have when playing on a planet that has no solid surface :p

And you're just asking for trouble having a bottle made from Pure Energy. You wanna cut it with something, maybe some sort of fibre wrap? Pure Energy would keep the weight down, but the possibilities for world ending failure would be quite high. If you flash filled it could explode with the force of a billion Spreadz.
