(you shouldnt have asked this question......) Have you ever seen aliens? In the film you will see the M41A (look in google). A long time ago i found out i can get a shround to cover my tippmann 98 to make it look like the M41A, it ended up being a vacum-formed shroud and didnt look that impressive (have a look for cushman custom creations) so i hunted around for somthing else and found nouthing, so now im making my own!.........

im making the main part of the shroud out of plastic but i wanted the proper
....told you that you shouldnt have asked.....
I've just finished my first scenario marker a G36-C which literally slides in two sections over the body of an Ion.

If you get hold of some stuff called foamex (Sign writers use it and it is used in roofing for plastic barge boards, sofits etc)
You can rough up the shiny sides and glue it together with carpet glue or glue gun glue to form a laminate, then you can cut, drill, shape it to your hearts content. When you get the shape right you can fill it with body filler sand it and spray it! Jobs a good un!

you made that? awsum! how did u get the two sides to hold together? at the moment im working on the idea of attaching the magazine half to the top section with the 98 in the middle (again search m41a to see what i mean) at the moment im just ignoring the shotgun-grenade launcher till i can get a sabot launcher/q-loader
Hi
I used a small section of sink waste pipe as the main body, used an angle grinder with a fresh (Good and square) disc to cut the milling lines in the sight rails etc. The stock is just made from a solid laminate of foamex with all cut-aways drilled and jig sawed out then fine sanded. most of the main components are hot melt glued to the sink pipe body with hidden screws drilled and fixed. some of the outer body screws are load bearing, some are just for show. the stock hinge is a piece of profiled plastic rod drilled to tack a 4mm clevis pin and r'clip, the hinge is cosmetic.
To remove the front section, you just unscrew the barrel and feedneck then it pulls right off. the rear section is just a tight push fit.
The barrel sticking out at the front is a cut down paint roller handle. lol :p
Glad you like it.
Foamex is marvelous stuff coz you can cut, sand shape it so well. (I used an angle grinder with a fiber disc) You can even gently heat it with a hot air gun and bend it.

I am working on a paintball rocket launcher at the mo (It will just basically fire off a whole load of paintballs in one go)

how about turing something like this into a paintball marker

It has a sling to go around your shoulder, a bit like the one from predator I

But because its so long you could make one massive hopper on the top of it that would hold 1000 balls

You'd need to spray it black though lol

Launchers are not generally mentioned as allowed on normal games. But you can always ask. The iffy point is that depending on the shell you can fire more than one ball per shot, but compared to a stream of paint from a fast trigger they are nothing. If you ask nicely sites may let you use it, and you can offer to load with one ball at a time. They are more visible at scenario games.

They make a very satisfying noise when fired so can be used empty for affect as well. Various types of shell are available for BBs, .43" paintballs and .68" paintballs, plus you can put in other things such as powder for clouds or if the launcher has a long barrel then you can leave the shell empty and launch something like a sabot or nerf rocket. (Depending on game rules)

Getting them can be pricey. In the UK they are less common. RAP 4 is the basic one for .68" shells, but just about any airsoft launcher will do and can be got hold of pretty cheaply from Hong Kong etc.
The thing to be careful with airsoft ones is any barrel mount will be real life size and won't fit a paintball barrel without adjustment. M203 types that fit by rail won't ba a problem - as long as you have the rail.

Importing can be tricky as you have to get past customs - I got mself an airsoft AK launcher, if I was a registered airsofter I could have just ticked the right box. As I'm not I had to go trough some rigmarole of explaining why I was importing it. I have since seen the case of a guy getting a marker refused entry so it can depend on the opinion of the customs guys - or a policy change.

If it's still available there was a QLoader for sale as linked below, it's with A5 fittings but you can discard or offer them out if you don't want them.
