Do v-force grillz have soft ears?

No, but they dont really push on your ears so their is no need.

So if I got hit in the ear it would be unlikely to burst my eardrum? Paranoid about this since my friend had e-vents, got shot in the soft ears and now he's deaf in one ear!

Thing about the events is they sit high, so their is a clear gap to your lug hole. Grillz have much much better ear coverage, and i'd be very surprised if paint actually got anywhere near your ear. So I wouldn't worry.

(I own both goggles btw)

As others have already said Vforce Grillz don't have soft ears but as the picture link below clearly shows, the ears are fully covered. The inside of the section that covers the ear does have a soft sponge on the inside for comfort and stability.
