Once again the national postal service have pushed me into a fray of anger and compensation claims.
Three times the royal mail have failed me, once for been late in special garunteed, and recently as some mods will know have lost my package and left me 180 short and a lost uppd ego, no trace of where it went, no acknoledgement from them of the lost package after several letters and calls, and my anger upsetting mods and users on the forum alike, which again I am sorry to those people for.
But once again they fail, I was suposed to have a pckage gauranteed for yesterday, was sent monday morning on special class, with gauranteed 1pm delivery, with a total of over 8pounds in postage costs....but yes you guessed it it never came, I phoned royal mail and they explained to me that they had received my package on tue am in ny local sorting office it was even still saying online my package would arrive on the 30th garunteed!!!! Well it won't!, although I was releived I was also told that their was no attempt at delivery, asking why? They said they couldn't tell me! Now I have a package on special and expect it to be arrived on time garuanteed, but no that would most likely be too much work for them.
Now today it arrived, AFTER 1 pm and seen beter days, thankfully the air tank I had ordered was fully encased in bubble wrap although, the outside packaging was severely ripped and bashed, showing the inside of the package, after signin for it, I asked why it never came yesterday, no reason again, and to my disgust no apology. I just paid f***n 8 pounds for garaunteed delivery to me!!! I mean wats the problem!!!
Now, I believe some postal workers on the forum may not like this post and some people will say to me I should be patient and not so uptight (again evident of our pushover society) althogh I'm sick of this! I pay extra to get things delivered by a set time and I expect it to be delivered effectively! Does this happen? No it doesn't! I will admit on some occasions the mail have been excellent but when they do slip up its a nightmare!! And yes I will use them agaian an again and again, y? Its because they are the cheapest and practically the only parcel service widely used and easy access.
Now y am I making this post well its to let me breathe again, I have had this happen 3 times with packages and many more times with letter and I will be claiming the postage fee. But the whole reason of this post was not slandering or mud slinging as much as it sounds, I thought it would be beter to led my anger out on a post instead of keeping it on my chest...
