yeah, as gassy says, the un1tec fronts dont have a thread, you need to buy a un1tec back, which gives it the thread. (they are £12 +p&p from Warped. Contact them via their website or contact steve@warped on here)

I dont understand how it doesn't have a thread does it have some sort of locking mechanism?

The unitec barrels are a 2 part system, with a front and back. What's being sold here are the fronts. All unitec barrels fronts come with the same thread for fitting onto the back sections. The back sections have 2 threads...1 for attaching the fronts to them, and the other thread for the marker. This allows the same barrels to be used on different threaded markers (cocker, impulse, spyder, etc) simply by changing the back section.

Must admit I think £65 is a bit much, rare maybe, but still second hand.
