First off i'd like to point out i'm not having a dig at this series as i really hope it works out BUT players reffing teams that at some point they will need to play against always opens a can of worms in my opinion!

agreed, wont be fair reffing. as the day goes on and scores become apparent teams reffing could sway the end result. and it will only make teams use reffing as a tool to win

agreed teams reffing has never been great, but it shouldn't be that way.
however in a bid to present an inexpensive tournament it seems logical. It would be down to teams wanting the series to be a success to whether or not they do a good job reffing. There will be an independent ultimate on each field, if he feels that the reffing team is pulling a fast one, that team will get series points deducted. The millennium use this system, and it work's well there......

you only get to know who you are playing when the results of the previous round has been worked out, so it could be any team.... and if a said team is doing really well, would they throw it away by having points deducted for biased reffing? time will tell.....

Random question but it says on your website that the event is supported by large selection of trade stands, can you elaborate on this? Do you have any confirmed vendors that we can rely on for good paint etc? if so who are they please? Also, what are the 'great prizes' likely to be?
