Empire E-Vent Goggles Help

Hi All,

I was looking at buying at some point when i get some money up together a new mask, the Empire E-Vent's but before i did, i wondered if you guys could kindly give me a review on what you think of them etc ?

I've owned Dye I3's and a set of Dye I3 pro's. Great masks, being light, comfortable and provide good face coverage. But.... I kept steaming up and had to buy a dye fan to keep them clear, and to change the lense is an absolute bitch.

So after a recomendation I bought a pair of e-vents. As long as I use a thermal lens (double pane) it never steams up and I've played in the rain and some very humid days. Changing the lens takes about 30 seconds, which is great if you just need to give it a bit of a clean.

I find them very comfortable, easy to maintain, and never have a problem with them on field.

The only down side is the foam has come off a bit, but this happened to both my Dye's which is a result of me being a sweaty betty I think. Bit of glue though and all is right as rain.

The clear lense with them tends to be abit rubbish though.
Anti-fog coating comes off quite easily.

The smoked thermal lense is brill tho.

i just got my events and there are mint!
i prefer them over girllz anyday and they are really comfy too.

yh the grillz were another mask i was looking at but i prefered the e-vents but was wondering what peoples views on them were, thanks for your help so far dudes anymore people ?

btw if you do go with the e-vents be very careful with the ear protectors, they are fragile and rip easily.

its up to you........try them both then choose which one you prefer.

Never ripped my ear protectors but if you do places like LPS will sell them for something like a tenner. Mate has a pair of grillz and he says the lens are a bitch to replace, but I have no first hand experience of them so cannot really make any other comment.
