Not at all, but I know the Owner and manager very well. I train there every week, I marshall there quite often, I'm going to staargate with the owner and a good mate of mine this weekend for a laugh, i'm there at least once or twice a week, and no one has heard anything about this guys plans to train at Tower paintball. I don't have a problem with other people wanting to train there, but the fact that he is telling everyone that he will be training there, without speaking to the manager or owner I find quite ridiculous, when he hasn't even enquired about when he would be able to train there, or how much it would cost etc, he should at least be honest to the people that he is recruiting for this team that he wants to create.

Start a team if you wish to do so buddy. Previous posts from experienced players or players who have some knowledge of the game/teams will always tell you it isnt easy, but..
If this is just for fun, by all means take a bunch of players to walkons, trainning sites, go out and enjoy yourselves.

If you decide to play competitive, do the above first, get some trainning DVD's , get yourselves to clinics, go watch some tourneys to see what its all about. Ask around if you have questions and anything your unsure with, there will always be someone there to help. Dont worry if someone calls you a noob, we all start somewhere.

What ever you decide, most important is to have a good laugh.

Why did you not just have a word in his ear (PM) and say
"I am a good friend of the manager @ Tower and is you are determined to set your own team up, then you are welcome to come down and see how we do it and I'll introduce you to the manager. We would enjoy having another team to train against" ;)

Fair point, I guess it just kind of annoyed me because of the effort we all went to so we could have the opportunity to train there, which as of yesterday we no longer are anyway, oh the irony eh! (a long story which is not my place to post about on a public forum). Needless to say we are hopefully going to be training weekly at HPG dagenham once it is back up and running, which we are all looking forward to :) look out for London Hazard at the UK masters next year.
