Amir Kahn lost the fight got knocked out by the guy from colombia. what a punch by Breidis Prescott. straight to the side of the head first time he knocked kahn down. then one amir got back up didnt take him long to finish him off. Amir kahn didnt meet the refs count and he lost his intercontinental title.


It was an amazing punch by Prescott. The first one.


Amir kahn lost first round, first miniute i believe, or 1 min and 1 second

I woke up to find out on the news,and to be honest i wasn't suprised that khan lost by knockout my only suprise was that it was in the first round.
This was khan's first true world class opponent he has met and he's already been knocked down a couple of times before by average non ranked challengers,and changing trainers and his style of boxinig wasn't a good idea just before meeting an undefeated world class fighter.

I'm sure this setback will be a blessing in disguise for khan who's been riding a tide of national euphoria since the 2004 olympics.
I still think amir khan can and will be a world champion at some point of his boxing career.
