Hey all, i was getting my kit ready last night for today and my Events had a tiny mark that looked like a bit of a sticker mark or something so i got a damp cloth that was slightly warm (not hot) and wiped it, then over half the side of the lense has gone like! Is it the anti-fog layer ive heard people talk about before? Also is there anyway i can get another under warranty or something or is it my fault?

Thanks

that happened to my lens, not sure whether you can get another as it is classed as accidental damage

If you submerge the lens in hot water (not soapy) and scrub the outside layer of the lens with a flannel then it will come clear again. Then simply apply anoher coat of anti fog spray etc

Yeah, i will try that actually but i didnt think the spray would work as good as the one thats on it when you buy it.

Thanks

I found my clear lense was rubbish.

Tried it and it was very hazy, so gave it a rub with the bag to try clear it out abit and some of the cleating came off on the bag :-/

Best get a proper thermal lense.

It is a well known fault with the single lense, just send it back to Kee or where you brought it from and they will replace it for you.

If you ask nicely they may upgrade it to a thermal for a few extra ££ ;)
