Ehm....
Is the 'skill' of shooting not represented in the Olympics by ehm......
Shooting.
i agree with dodge on this point, as much as i would love to see paintball in the olympics, it aint going to happen....
quote: danny "events that simulated the traits necessary to excel as a warrior":quote
the way i see it is the olympics is all about skills in a certain factor swimming lengths, running lengths (relays, sprints), jumping heights (big height jump things, forgot thename lol),fighting (boxing), shooting (targets), riding (horse riding/jumping)etc which are all represented by several events, its all about world class skill, paintball has many skils within it and most of them are covered by many of the other events in the olympics...as such dodges example of shooting
paintball will never get the olympics, it aint recognised even nearly enough by the public on a tournament basis and really their is no point for it too be in the olympics in the firstplace, as its a game which confers many different skills within it.
but from what i have said people on here WILL flame me for what i have just stated, even tho i love the sport so much, by saying volleyball, beach ball, basket ball etc are in the olympics, but to me i dont think they should be as their a game, and again they confer many different skills within them.
i hope you all know what im trying to say on my view point, and that i dont get flamed too much lol, im not trying to be a traitor or anything, and i really do love the sport and internationall coverage like the olympics would do it good, although its just not going to happen i beleive, as theirs no need for it to be in the olympics.
