ego 05, virtue eyes

i decided to get some virtues eyes for my ego 05, i bought them brand new from B.Z
im not sure if they are broken or not as they didn't come with any instructions.
so......when i turn the gun on the eye says that it can see something, it shows the (-) but standing up, which u probably know means there is a balls or object in the chamber and there isn't and no its not the bolt.
when i pull the trigger the hole symbol changes to on i haven't seen before ] but facing upwards.
the gun will fire with the eyes on or off even when there is nothing in the chamber.
if i change the eyes to eyes off it does the ) but facein upwards but the after i pull the trigger it turns to the]
i have tried it with gas but not with balls as i don't really no how that would help, my battery is 1/3 full and is a good planet eclipse battery
but im just lookin for some help really

have you tried cleaning the eye holes, as it may be that there is paint blocking the eyes.

try using a cuetip (cotton bud) to clean it.

it may work then

its not the eye holes because when i take the eye out it can still see and object even when im holding it away from the gun

that square bracket symbol means an eye malfunction, i have had it when my eyes got dirty, those were stock tho not virtue. are they aligned right?

the virtue eyes are only 1 eye the other is a light so the eye can see the ball better than 2 i dont understand wat the malfunction could be mabe the light is also an eye

Had this problem on my 6 and 7.

Fixed by aligning the eyes up by slightly bending the connecting wires so they point at each other

wt do u mean by bending the wires so they face at each other

Got the sender and receiver to point as directly as I could at each other by not so gently bending the connecting wires located on the back of each eye.

The flat receiver eye didn't need bending but the little 'bumpy' sender/emitter was bent so when you looked into the breach, the light was more or less pointing at the receiver.

Also I read on here that the eyes need good fresh batteries for best use.

still dosen't work and i have changed the battery and still it is not workin does anyone no the actual instructions for the virtue eyes?
and the wires are not bent

iv guessed that the virtue eyes must be broken, so im going to buy another set of eyes to see if they work
