taking the train down to NSPL Reading this weekend...don't know whether if its ok to have my marker in my proto backpack with just the barrel exposed but covered by a barrel sock or to avoid any hassle just break it down...don't want to get tased or worse by the old bill

Take the barrel off and then just put it in your bag so that no-one can see it.

I've never seen anyone get checked on a train

will do then...its just the backpack is designed to carry it like that but i suppose in this day and age that can't be the case, i'll just bring the case instead of ending up with armed police stopping me:eek:

you can actually use it to hold up the train/bus and make a bit of money, just wear your mask, it will create a great image for paintballers all around ;)
i'm sure the media would love that...i can see the daily mail headline now "paintballer robs bus that was running late as usual..."

SOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!
gun

I used to know a few of the guys on the ironlions and they always used public transport to play paintball after work and they used the nxe back packs to transport their stuff around central london. These were the ego 06's and no one said anything to them ever. You could see the barrel and the whole air system.

I would just do what you want. Your not going to stand out from the rest of the freeks that use public transport.lol!!!

Reguardless of the law you have to remember most people dont play speedball and thus cant tell the diff. Put the marker in your bag.

Last week i was traveling down from aberdeen i had my planet kit bag but being a girl i filled it up quick so my pod pack was on the outside. In york i got stopped by the police saying that people had been concerned about what this is, it was an amusing thing that apparetly people had said it may have looked like a bomb and thinking back had i been male the event may have ended quite differently.

we get wrapped up in our bubble of paintball too easily, so if in doubt bag it.

Johnny all it takes is one incident and we all find ourselfs screwed. Loughbourgh uni still werent able to join the university league because of a real shooting there so its clear to me that the public still view paintball in the wrong way, its not ness their fault but until its viewed otherwise dont be a twit and risk everyones fun. :)
