fuel costs, paying the delivery man, etc

surely thats a simple enough answer. no doubt it would be cheaper if you'd have picked it up.

this is the second stupid thread ive seen tonight
Just checked, same price for collection. I suppose I should be greatfull for the FOC service with a smile from the 'fresh off the boat' delivery man in his K reg Fiat Uno.

I concede it is a pretty stupid thread but this one is close the the heart:rolleyes:

always check for voucher codes when buying online... I was ordering 2 large pizzas (about £25) from dominos or pizzahut or something and got like 30% off which makes it better, not massively cheap, but better.

Google is your friend, but there normally is a minimum spend of about £15.

I knew I was ordering a 9" but when it arrived it was insultingly small.
Those very words are uttered by the clients of Gigolo's every day:D

It's 9 inches before they cook it, they shrink a little.

Anyway, I usually go for a Childs/Individual pizza and a Combo.

The Combo is chicken strippers, wedges and three dips.

For about £11 it works out nicely.

Also, as with most brand name are paying for the fact that it is a Dominos.

You have to remember that Dominos is a franchise over here. Five years ago, they were £250,000 a pop, without premises etc.

I have a local Kekab/Chicken/Pizza place, that does a 10inch jobbie for about £8 for a meaty one, which is what I favour in the absence of spondoolies.

If I got 45 minutes with a 9 inch gigolo for £9 then that would be value for money:)

Forgot to mention that I got a free garlic and herb dip that has a best before of June 08:(

i wouldnt worry to much about the best before date. thats just means its best before that date. u generally have a couple of months after that date( depending on the produc) until its unedable.

its a used by date you should be worried about

Drivers are on minimum wage and get less than 80p per drop.
Dominos don't consider how much your fuel costs, and as stated, most of the drivers are immigrants of either the legal or illegal varietyy and while I don't wish to stereotype, chances are they don't concern themselves with tax or insurance and Dominos don't check.
