Just to make clear I didnt make the chart, just searched for the differences on other forums!:)

But looked accurate to me, may not cover all aspects of both markers though;)

still, i see no big reason for the huge price between them, and il admit the Dm does come with some extra things such as keka said. but il make do with ma PM8 lol

I think that the PM8 is last years DM7 in a new body, or thats what I've been given the impression of any way, but they both shoot pretty well :D

Pretty sure that's not the case what with the Hyper 3, lack of on/of on the body and vertical LPR, but then again I think this thread has come down to splitting hairs.

Keka, forgot about the magnetic detents and I think you got it right, the PM8 is exceptional value! (Especially compared to the DM8).

...the only difference between the DM7 and the DM8 is the change from the Hyper2 to the Hyper3!!
and no eye plates , smaller lpr and they have made it lighter fair enough only by 1.5 oz but its still lighter. and if i had to shoot a pm8 i would wait for my next pay check to come in and get a dm8. couple of guys at my site last year had pm7 when i had a dm7 and they had them in bits always fannying around with something ... however the dm7 shot flawlessly (the problem was between the trigger and the brain)
this year exactly the same, a mate got canary in a coal mine and he is selling it already. i got my dm8 (yet again problem between the trigger and the brain) but thanks to dye they fixed it and now it shoots amazing complete ropes and deadly accurate .

IMHO go for the dm8 its one less thing to think about
