is a PM8 a DM8?

just thought id start a thread on here to see what peeps say about the PM8.

Online ive read many times before that a PM8 and a DM8 have very little differences, people are saying thay have the same bolt, self cleaning eyes, regulator, LPR, trigger, UL frame and board. so if thats true, why would you spend an extra 400 pounds for a DM8? as all youll get is a dye barrel and no eye covers and a different look on the gun, personnally though i think the PM8 looks much nicer than the DM8 lol

Ive got a PM8 myself and i absolutely love it!! although because ive never seen a DM8 in person i cant make these comparisons to see if what people are saying is right.

so can anyone clarify up what people are saying and if their right.

Not really, that comparison is way wrong!

Fairly sure the PM has an on/off, a 2-piece barrel, Hyper 3, clamping feedneck and a UL frame with adjustable trigger!

IMHO, DM not worth the extra.

The main differences are the UL frame comes stock on the dm8, and it has no eye covers as it has an extra tube inside the breach which protects them and aids the self cleaning.

The comparison is correct and does have as above in the chart I have a PM8
