Morning all,

Iv only just got into the paintball scene really but iv been quite a few times but not paid to much attention to any markers ect. Last wekk i went out and brought a Empire Mini Invert, i was wondering if there is a specific are tank as iv seen so many around?

Also, whats the differance between high preasure and low preasure release tanks?

I wanna get a 5000PSI tank as im guessing it would last the longest (biggest number = higher amount?) Any who, thanks for your info guys.

Jamie.

Too early in the morning for this but here goes:rolleyes:

3000,4500 and 5000 PSI are the pressures the tank can take.

0.8,1.1 and1.5L are the amounts of air a tank can hold.

Types of reg Hp -850 psi and Lp -450 psi. This is the output of the regulator.

Lots of good tanks out there i use a DXS 4500/1.1L , but have just got a Pure energy 48/5000 as its smaller and lighter.

Thread wise for the markers i think that they are universal.Someone correct any of this if i'm wrong as i'm on nights.

Hope this is of some use.

Oh and try the search key it helps a lot:D

It is very early indeed :D, a friend pointed me here because i dont get much internet time, im able to get out a couple of forums and thats about it :(. He said this was there best place to go so if there is something im missing just point me in the direction and il be having a brows if i manage to get the time.

Just at a whild guess but a 5000PSI, 1.5L and Lp -450 psi would last the longest?

I got ya on the PSI and the volume of the tanks, i dont get the "Types or reg" as you said. As there are 2 types, would they need to match the markers regulator?

If anyone has a link to a recommendation on a air tank, it would be greatly appreatiated (I have about £150 to spend on one)

Your invert mini can be used on both hp and lp regs.

Don't worry too much about 5000psi as the air at tourneys is only supplied to 4500psi, and as far as i know there is not going to be a change to 5000psi in the near future.

You're correct in your assumption that the larger bottle, higher pressure and lower reg output, will give you the most from the system. But the 1.5L bottle is heavier than the 1.1L and physically bigger and is normally only used by the back players who dish out larger volumes of paint. Most players are aiming for a light and tight setup, and the most popular bottle size is the 1.1L.

If you go to the Lips website (London international paintball supplies) They stock both the Dxs and Pure energy tanks i use both. Both as good as each other and fibre/kevlar wrapped tanks so lighter. Both at about £135. You can check the Lips section on here and drop them a Pm with any questions mate:D
