do you reckon a invert mini is a good starting marker and how much should i be looking to pay for one?? cheers.james

They are very nice, and like ANY gun, if they are looked after they will fire great. Second hand they are only as good as the previous owner is with general maintenance. Unfortunately that is something you will have to deal with, but if you do get one, let me know and I can help you set it up, fix it or whatever.

www.youtube.com/abolter for a whole load of videos of us shooting minis

yer minis are nice guns they are nice and small, compact etc.

but if you plan on playin tornys you will need a new board as the mini can only be capped to 15bps, and the limit is 12bps. i agree with AIRLINEDAVIS save a little more money and get an ego, dm, you wont regret it

we capped the mini to 12 but over a bps chrono it measured 14.8 bps, and my team mate was not aloud to use that gun
From what i got told (not sure how correct this is)... the mini has a problem when the battery is nearly dead / low the ROF cap goes a bit funny and and rides high.

But like bolter said the guns can cap right down to 10 i believe, i had mine capped to 12 and shot exactly to 12 even ramped.

Personally i think they are great markers and shoot spot on! I would think the only thing you need from is a new barrel (personally i think the stock barrel is great with the right paint... mine shoots proto ball on ball no bother), but its still quite small so maybe a freak or something in case you shoot a larger ball (i know summa chronic bursts in the barrel quite a bit, but with a freak on it no trouble at all).

Deffo a worth while purchase for the price, easy to maintain etc :D

Probably one of my fave markers, i debate going back to it every day but am too lazy to trade/sell my pmr. Definately fun to play with and looks pretty good.
Plus listen to bolter, he speaks the truth.
