Hi, just a quick question and bare with me...

I have the above and have a problem, I'm planning on playing the masters on sunday, but have just found that my gat aint doing as it's supposed to. I've just set the ROF etc to comply with the rules and regulations and tried dryfiring to check it out. I played a couple of weeks ago in the ionman and there was no problem and shooting sweet as. As I've said I change the rof etc "NOTHING ELSE" I've attached my air system (has 3000 still in) and turned the eyes of to give it a test... It fired about 3 shots then went quiet, the bolt still moves forward so there seems to be some air getting to it but not enough to fire a reball.

This is my first ego, and so don't know the ins and outs of it as I've never stripped it down, only to clean the bolt etc as it has never chopped other than the odd one with crap paint, so please keep it as simple as possible (like me;))

Cheers, Al

and if you dont get it sorted on before the masters just bring it to the corrupted stand, we will have our qualified eclipse tech there :)

Right, I've changed the battery as you do! I've stripped and cleaned the inline reg, checked and counted shim stack and lubed as per mannual, then tried again. when I want to vent the gun I unscrew the oops and I fire as usual to vent... when I turn the knob it vents as per, but when I fire it also vents through the oops and not the barrel

try reset the ego to stock settings just to make sure you haven't messed with the dwell etc...

if that works then set the ROF to capped.

I have been daring and stripped it down and seem to have found a piece of macro line stuck on the part where the rammer hits? don't know how it got there or where it came from but it wont budge, so it looks as if it has been royaly fooked and will need scrapping

Yay, glad pike fishing is another hobby of mine, after sweating my nads off for an hour, I decided to look for my forceps that I use to remove wire traces, they worked a treat and removed the piece of suspect macroline and now is all working a treat!!!!!!!! Well I now know how to strip and clean my gat from what was a potential disaster.

Thanks for your help, guidance and offers

PS make sure you have some small curved tip forceps in your tool box

Thanks again, AL
