Empire clear vents lense being rubbish

Recently got a empire vents goggle set, which come with a nice extra clear lense. However, after not even using the lense, the coating has rapidly deteriated. It has cracked/creased up and has now obscured the entire lense, rendering it useless.

Has anyone else had this issue? Had any response from empire or the retailers?

saw a youtube vid about this.

Phone / email / go into the store you bought it from, i heard it was a defect in making them. the shop will probably know about this and get you a replacement

I've had this with both of the clear lenses I have. I've just accepted it. be super gentle with them and keep 'em clean (with COLD water only)

Same hear,washed mine in lukewarm water and they bubbled,just presumed it was my fault for using warm water

I found my standard clears hard to clean... and that was after the first time using them on the field!

I have a some thermal smokes which cleaned up nicely but I spent ages on the standard clears and they smear and seemed to be scratching up!

I've ordered some thermal clears anyway as I found the standard clears rubbish and fog up after minutes on the field.
