I have not been able to play ball since an accident i had in early 07, the offending party have decided to reject any responsibility and have claimed that as i played paintball then that is the cause blah blah, this looks like going to court and paintball being in the main catalyst for blame so i need to defend that accusation and need to know if paintball has had a risk assessment done, I have looked on the Ukpsf site, maybe one for for mr paintball himself Steve Bull :)

im pretty sure each paintball site is required by law to have a risk assessment conducted at regular intervals and after any incident has occured.

Paintball is dangerous and so necessary precautions must be taken by site organisers. If you were injured because of their failure to do that, i'd say you have a pretty solid case.
If it was your fault then it's different.

Can I ask what happened?

Bit sketchy on the info, you don't say what your injury is or how it happened.

for all we know you could be claiming you shot yourself in the foot with a nail gun.

what are you claiming and how can they relate it to paintball ?

First off i need to clear up that paintball is not related to my misfortune in any shape or form;)

I'm sketchy on the info as i really don't see as to what relevance it has that this forum needs to know of my injuries or how it occured,(although there are a fair amount of ballers that do) all i need is information if there is a general risk assessment done, or even better still has anyone got Stevie B's e-mail addy as he is the main man who will know.

I've been in this sport for 19 years now Gassy and know how to tread the the rocky paintball road:D

I am just starting down the same road with a non paintball injury caused by my GP.

I was just intrested in how they have come to the conclusion that paintball is to blame for your injury.

I think that you may be able to find statistics to back up your claim, depending on what it is.

Most popular paintball injuries and their direct causes etc. Probably could dig out some of those "more likely to be killed by a washing basket than by playing paintball etc" may help lighten the mood.

But really speaking, to glean information from the wide array of specialists that frequent this forum, you may need to provide some details, even if over PM.

"Ollytheosteo" is one of these specialists, he is a dentist as his name suggests, so he may be able to help.
