All bottles leak?

I read a sales thread earlier, where the guy was selling a package with a 5k bottle. He comments that it leaks a little, and adds that they all do a bit so not to worry, or something along those lines.

I've got two bottles and the only time it has leaked is when it needed a new fill point, which when changed fixed it.

Whats the general concensus on this.? Am I lucky having two bottles that don't leak, or is this guy selling a bottle which needs something doing to it.

A sealed bottle should be exactly that, anything else is a fault.

Not trying to cuase any trouble, just wondered thats all. Not the first time I have heard of people having leaks which they seem to accept as the norm.

mine used to leak, stuck it in some water and saw the air was coming out a small hole in my pressure guage, the tube inside it was knackered, bought a new guage from dye and everything has been fine since.

Just had a look, no probs there.

yeah, he's talking about the valve, not the bottle part.
