I can't answer your question, but what I will say is that I used to wear Dye I3's and I3 Pro's, and always always steaming them up unless I had the fan running. I have swapped to e-vents since, and as long as I use the double pane lens I never have a problem.
i have a red E-vents that i got the other week, its superb. well worth the money (£50) and comes with spare lense.
using the smoke thermal lense in heavy rain and very hot weather there was no fog and the mask even took a few bouncers.
ill bring it down the shop sometime for you to look at along with my Ego 07.

My problem is not so much the lens but my glasses!
If I don't have the fan going it is a waste of time playing.

Have you tried the stuff that motorcyclists use? I cant remember its name but its green and it comes in a squirty bottle. Its really good. try your local motorcycle dealership...
