Old farts club?

I am relatively new to the sport having enjoyed a mates stag do punter game at a skirmish last year.
Now I have become way wayy waaayyy! obsessed with the sport (mainly recball at a private site) now owning more gear and markers than I could ever possibly use. My latest heavy duty indulgence being a 300 bar 15cfm Davy air compressor! :

Now I'm an old fart! (46) my Brother; also newly into the sport is 51
My question is; how old is the oldest regular player?
I read a thread by someone the other day who was retiring at 30 because he was "too old for the sport" Well what hope does that leave me?
I want to know if I am going to get some mileage out of my kit? Am I going to get the p*ss ripped when I attend my first walkon at "The Bunker game" in Sept or am I just a young whipersnapper in comparison?

So c'mon oldies, post up. Lets see who's the oldest!

There is a bloke at NPF that has been playing since the site opened which was 21 years ago. he is easily 70+...on the games that are quite far away he has to get a lift on the gator down to the scenario because he isnt that mobile in his old days...he is a living legend and still gives the punters/own gunners a run for there money.

Don't worry about your age mate, i still play & I'm in the same age bracket as you...... But their are others that still play in the tournament side well into their 60's, so there is still hope for us yet...

Tom Allen on here is 65 ,has at least 3 of his own teeth left and as long as his pants have a zip fly instead of buttons nothing can stop him playing...
