I want to know where my £50 went ? A fire work display that did what ?

more marshals or more toilets that were not over flowing would have been a better spend

I have played or marshalled all the staargate series and this one was the worst by far.

14 marshals was an absolute disgrace, there were more cameramen than refs

Every evil player who paid for 4500psi should be refunded as the only 4500 fill was 1st thing then we were lucky to get 3500.Talking to guys from the top safe area they had well over 4 for most of the day.

it seemed there was a differant player pack for the blues saying the 1st 20 hits don't count and then you wipe down and respawn exactly where you are or 2 paces back then cotinue to play. Also you don't have to wear your faction colour if you don't want to,just tuck it in the back of your pack.I could only shoot 5 players out at a go as it took a pot per blue to get them to walk

The only way the game could have been anymore biased to the blues would have been to engrave their name on the trophy last night.Example the door to the transporter was on the goodie side so they could cover it and an out of bounds area so the baddies could not.

This was my 1st game this year and I was really looking forward to it,what a let down.

I hope the £2 the badguys paid for the extra air is collected and given to charity and not put into the organiser pockets as you did NOT provide anything like 4500psi to the bottom safe area.

I hope Bully is laughing his tits off all the way to the bank, his renting the site out was a stroke of absolute genius this year,I salute you Steve

Gassy hit it on the head; Five portaloos for the Saturday and safe area end on Sunday, most of which were full or overflowing by the end of the evening, and none on the camp site proper. At least as baddies we got two fresh ones in the morning:rolleyes: They aren't expensive so why the hell not have, I don't know, enough for 500 people for two days? The game itself was fun if unbalanced but the firework display was far too close to the lower safe area, with players unable to talk to one another, I was sat at one point watching my Magna spinning from the explosions. The Baddie safe area was a half-arsed job all 'round- the tents and tables were unable to accomodate all the players and the only reason it wasn't a shambles was the organisers getting very lucky with the weather. If it had been raining the whole thing would have been a miserable mess, and having paid extra for 4500psi air I think the best fill I got was about 3800 with most lower. All in all a pretty crappy way to treat customers after charging £50 a head:mad:

An idea of the most important part of the day and how biased it was. produce by deathadder on talkpb
haha, that picture sums it up rather well.
The worst part was when the marshalls kicked 30 or 40 of us out of the objective and into the rape zone to get shot, effectively handing the objective to the other team.

However, I couldnt give a toss who won or lost. I got to shoot a million people and when they wiped the paint I shot em again and again. Great fun.

But we were quite miffed that our group got split between red and blue, because really I just went down for a laugh with mates, so having some of them on the opposing team spoiled it for me more than the field bias.

I havent played woods ball for almost 10 years, At least now if anyone argues that woodsball has some kind of honour and fairness that toruney ball has not, I have the evidence to shoot them down without mercy...

5 portaloos for all the people was a disgrace , everyone who paid the extra for the air should get a refund.

If you get a firm in to supply the air based purley on price then its going to be cocked up.
3 events I have been to this year have had problems with air, there is a common factor.

The only air company who seem to deliver what they promise is H-PAC.

I would like to see some sort of response from the organisers please .... I know Bully's name has been thrown around but was he running and organising it ???
If not, who's responsible for this year's Staargate?

Bully's only involvement was the hiring of his field for the event.

This year it was ran by Shoreline Paintball, under a chap call Lee Wickham and someone called Timboy.
Cheers Dodge, well it seems to me they used this site an awful to promote their event, might be an idea for one of them to use it again and answer some of these criticisms ......

Go on ukscenario and the back slapping and congratulating is amazing.

The only thing they can say about the complaints is "sore losers",makes me want to puke.

I thought new rules prohibited anyone under 16 from filling a bottle, so to find the rigs supervised by kids seemed a bit strange:confused: But gripes about the game, cheating etc aside there were serious problems with the organisation and infrastructure that need to be a addressed and have nothing to do with sides or whether you like dressing up like a soldier and wearing a beret:rolleyes:
The most pressing of which has to be- how the hell do you put on an event for 500 paintballers and not check a single air bottle for dates or condition? That's waaaayyyyyy back to the bad old days and just not excusable under any circumstances:mad:

Darkest depths o Zumerzet
and only chrono`d at the start of the day . i got put on my ass afew times with hot guns. and one marshal told me he caught an ego doing 26 bps
One lad was hit in the pack with enough force to put a hole in a pod! That to me sounds like not only a hot marker but a hot marker with spec ops paint! A sure fire recipe for disaster!
