magna drive upgrade kit?

i fitted one at the wekend cus i bust me rip drive so i thought i would upgrade!
i followed the manual and i set all the magnets and plates acording to the tournament setting!
as finishing it off i found that the drive cone would hit the inside of the shell!
also when i put paint in it would jus slip on the clutch? then i would have the red and green flashing lights?

possible im doin sumut wrong?

Take it all back out. Look at the shaft inside the raceway. Is there a c-clip on it?

Nope, I think it has to be off. Otherwise everything sits too high.
