Well, as i understand it, they decided not to take as much off the nxt as the SFT, time or cost i guess. Also, corrrect me if im wrong, but they anno all the shockers over here, and use a different heavier anno than the SFT, also it uses a heaver aluminium i think.
It is a different grade aluminium, holds anno better and they use a dust finish rather than gloss to decrease the wear that is seen on the SFT's.
tbh i think its just about looks myself

As I have seen soo many extremely cheap NXT's up for sale recently i'd have to say the NXT. Also the NXT feels lovely...
i have seen the sft 100-160, and nxt 190-350, i have never persnalley held a shocker, tbh, but every little helps lol
