Hey all
just thought I would create myself an introductory thread now seeing as I was cheeky enough to join and go straight for the sales section.
My name is Shaun, Im 17 years old and from Scotland. I first found paintball around a year ago when we went for a friends birthday. Some of us got more enthusiastic (the ones with jobs) and became regular woodsballers. Around three/four months later this was picked up upon by the site staff so we were invited to supair trials with a view to becoming part of a new team that was to form in the SPPS. Voila, the Ross-shire Rebels were born. Now three close friends, one other lad who was present at the trials and myself have been part of a 5 man speedball team for around half a year now. In our first season (although being fair its the same for a number of the teams) after two rounds we are siting in a comfortable 6th from 14 in this years SPPS, with the 3rd and final round on the 27th of July.
Now playing snake I have developed an obsession I don't think I could ever of discovered from just playing in the woods. I've recently upgraded from a PMR to an Etek Ego along with an Eclipse star frame, Cure2bolt, QEV, zik kit and a cyan blue CCU kit. Aint had a chance to "speedball" it yet so I can't wait till our next training session. I use a torque loader also, best invention ever for the lazy bugger, who cares about capacities and BPS when its evident that the ability to clean/fix it in the least amount of time possible is the real reason that matters.
Any tips n tricks that any experienced players may have for playing as a forward with oozing confidence would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
