modified profilers??

Found a pair of these lying around, i have cut them down and have put jt soft ears on them.

Are these tournament legal? I seem to rememeber reading that they were not allowed?

depends what tournament and how strict the refs are.

Technically you are not allowed to modify your goggles in ANY way. not even taking chinstraps off

the official word is not on your nelly, but thats mainly for insurance/liablity reasons, as they cannot be sure your work is sound

Well at masters i got told to take a postage size sticker of because i already had 2 on it. So they might start enforcing the the written rules a bit more

well trust me i would not even try it, otherwise your left high and dry and off the field.

saw a guy with profilers who had the bottom part only slightly coming away from the main part and he was asked to leave the field and change them, if people hadnt been willing to lend him theirs he would not have been allowed to play.

Some refs take it more seriously than others... depends which refs you get on the day. I had the two sticker rule enforced in Feb, so I don't think it is just coming back.

TBH a break of the rules in any way is enough for the opposition to give the refs ****, so the refs try to reduce that so that they have an easy life.

Makes sense really.
