Quick question before the weekends in...

Dudes can anyone in the know shed light on why a FAH-66 Comanche attack helicopter (Unsure of the UK designation) would be flying over my house up here in the middle of nowhere at 20:45 on a Sunday evening? I papped a brick when i seen it. Looked absolutely amazing! Its got a very distinctive sound too, I thought it was a small plane at first until i seen it.

Probably out on exercises or possibly out after servicing/repair for a test run.


I got very used to helicopters of all types flying over my house a fair number of years ago!!!

You're a star dude cheers. I heard a rumour that the RAF service their choppers up here at Carlisle Airport. Again if anyone can shed any light on that? If thats the case I think a drive out there is in order.

Here in the windsor/slough area we have had mental chopper activeity today.
at least 5 or 6 police choppers, a couple of gazels, wha i swear was either a black hawk or a huey and an odd large rounded shaped one that i didn't recognise. plus a few others i heard but didnt see.

I'm guessing today is the day bush went to the castle?

I love airshows.

Here are a few of my best shots from a show in Fort Lauderdale last year. 92 degrees and I actually cooked my toes in the sand.

and before anybody gets smart I ain't terribly bothered about the quality of photography, I know it is not the best, it is more the planes I like
