sl8r problem

i went on holiday for a couple of weeks i removed the battery from my sl and came back to find that the screen is broken. it lights up but no sign of the start up screen apart from a few flashing dots now and then ?? what can be done ?? should i just simply send it back to planet ?

Have you checked the trigger isn't stuck down or and buttons depressed accidentally?

Your best bet is sending it back to planet because it sounds like what some other boards get when the ribbons break or something and so the LCD dies, send the board to planet, they'll replace it for you

the board still lights up and everything, just there are no pixels on the screen . i could understand if i had been playing but it has just been sitting in my room. there are no signs of damage anywhere on the board

Yeah, the ribbon can still break, it'll light up, just no pixels will show

luke, it`ll be under warranty, phone planet eclipse (thats if you sent the warranty card back)

Send it to Planet but try a different battery first just in case

try a new battery if that doesnt work then eather email nick.T@planeteclipse.com or robert.p@planeteclipse.com or phone and ask to speak to eather of them and they will sort you out, sounds to me like it needs a new board
