Hi
I am just bout ta take up paintballing but not sure how much it gonna cost. I onli jst turned 16 and dont have a job yet. I need cheap and reliabul marker i have been advised ta get spyder mr1 and was wondering what every1 else thinks?:confused:

Firstly, you need to set a budget. Getting set-up is going to cost as much as you want it to.
You can get a set-up on here 2nd hand for £20 (Pump gun, hopper, and CO2 tank). Or you can spend £2,000.

How much are you willing to spend. And what type of paintball will you be playing, these will alow people to help you a bit more.

forget the spyder mr1, get an ion or a pmr.
and cheap air tank of here, cheap hopper and a mask which would be better if baught new.

I dont have a clue bout wot type of paintball m8 lol! Only played twice but loved it. I plannin on spendg bout 200-250. Probably play woodsball

woodsball, you'll be fine with a pmr or an ion so then you'll be able to play sup'air as well if you ever do.

P1E, a good start is looking at an online shop and checking the markers, air tanks, hoppers and their names. Gives you an idea of what people are talking about (generaly).

Another place for some information, is check the "For Sale" forum looking for people selling their markers. They will say what marker it is and should have some pics. So if someone is selling an "ion", check the pic and see what an Ion is. Then can google it and check some reviews on it, get an understanding of what it is and what features it has... its made by Smart Parts btw.

Go through the range of kit, and get an understanding of the lingo
