Hi guys,

Im going rec-balling this weekend for a change. What are the age limits and laws on smoke, paint and flashbang grenades ???

joe, you have to be over 18 to either buy or use them as they are classed as fireworks.

also illegal....like alcohol...its illegal to purchase the product for the express purpose of supplying to an underage person....however hard to check who sets off the grenades...i don't know about everywhere else but at one rec ball field near me pyrotechnics can not be used when under 18s are playing

Its up to the site, but usually no.
(Not supplied by the site, and not 'paintball grade')

At some sites the marshalls will use smoke/pyros for atmosphere. If military grade is ever used on a site it will normally be by the staff.

ive run through and used a military grenade (cant say where) and it will smoke the Whole game out so its unlikely they will use them as the smoke is quite thick and lasts for ages and the smoke grenade gets VERY hot even after its burned out!
