Just recently started paintball and got my 1st proper marker, though dont have a air system just yet. Ive just got myself an etek and have been told by a variety of people to buy a low pressure but at the same time a high pressure by other people. Trying to find out what most people think and why. So can you people please put across what you think i should buy and why?

As far as i'm aware (im no eclipse expert ;):p)

Eteks and ego's can use both .. but i think they prefer high (something like that)

Put simply .. Low pressure is softer on balls so they dont break as often but generally cant obtain a rof as high as high pressure can.
So markers like the angel isnt as fast as say an ego, but is softer on paint. Whereas he ego will be faster but slightly more harsh on balls

I use a LP bottle on my etek without any problems. Planet recommend HP so you're probably safest going with that, but with the lower ROF caps you shouldn't have any issues with LP.

Doesn't work like that mate, HP and LP is all about recharge/operating pressure. Wether your putting HP or LP into the gun, balls still get sent out at 300fps.

Get a HP reg, basically all guns (cant think of any off hand) that come out today can run fine on both LP or HP. But get a HP one to be safe

But now that we're restricted to 12bps what difference does it make?

Basically the answer you need is yes you can use a LP bottle but the general consensus is that you'd be better off with HP unless your a nerd who like to spend hours at the chrono tuning his gun to the lowest possible pressures.

Nah didn't think so. . . . screw a HP bottle on and forget about it:cool:
