Buying advice

First post, hello etc

Anyway, first marker I'm looking to buy is the Proto SLG. Why? Well, because it's cheap, apparently reliable and holds its own. That's something I have decided on.

However, I plan to get all my marker related kit at once, so I really need help with air and a hopper mostly (and anything else I might be forgetting, feel free to add.

In regards to a hopper, something I always have trouble determining is how much I really should pay for one. Because I ideally want one which actually works WELL with the SLG, and will last me beyond the SLG should I buy another marker at a later date. Also, with so many hoppers out there and some in the £100+ region, I wonder if it's really worth paying so much for a hopper that's only marginally better than its £50 counterpart? I don't actually mind paying a lot, but not if it's unnessecary.
Also, reliability is key. I want a hopper that ain't going to break every five minutes.

Air as well, is there going to be a huge difference in the make of the air canister? I ideally want to get a 4500psi canister, you know... The more the better.

Recommendations are welcome. Feel free to shoot any holes in what I've said if needs be.

Cheers.

Well, as I said, I've decided on the SLG already, but the hopper and air ideally are what I need advice with. Magna eh? Cheers, noted.

Actually, did you mean Magma?

I have never shot or even seen a slg shoot, but they seem to get some quite good feedback.
Regarding the hopper, try a second hand halo of here, you should be able to get quite a good deal of someone on here for one of these.
Regarding the air can, most should be fine, some are regarded better than others etc

Im sure someone else could give you better advice, there just my thoughts;)

Take a look at the UL trigger and clamping feedneck from DYE when you're budgeting as they are both a big improvement over stock, and for a hopper maybe look at the Torque? They are a bit cheaper new and user feedback has been pretty good. The Magna is a great hopper but expensive unless you find a good used one.
