Ego 06 Troubles

Basically i recently bought an ego off a previously named sh**te and its not working properly

It wont fire.... the bolt cycles fully without an issue, but the rammer doesn't seem to hit the valve .. so no flying ball :S

If i fire it without the bolt in place it fires easily (really loud bang and the rammer strikes the valve).. replace bolt and it doesn't fire again


Any ideas?

are you definitely slotting the bolt into the rammer not in front of it?

Both Rammer and Bolt in correctly

tried resetting it back to factory settings?

Yup settings are stock.

Should have said.. it worked for a few shots when i first gassed up (bout 50) and then stopped.

Seems to be lack of pressure on the Rammer :S

try a fresh battery

also put the bolt in, gas the gun up then with your hand push the bolt pin forward.....it is easy to push or difficult?

Its difficult to push... and brand new battery.. tried a few new ones with no change





Just stripped the marker and found one of the QEV's has snapped.. leaving part of the QEV in the threads....... anyway of getting these out easily?

Yeah, post it to Planet to fix.

Not a good week to do it however as they are gearing up for Campaign Cup so will be away from Weds/Thur until next week.

Maybe get it looked at in Basildon ?

I have a spare qev and would be able to remove the stripped thread if you want to pop to Reading over the weekend? FOC of course
