There is no gen 1. If the gun works, then it has all the things it needs to work. A few guns at the very beginning of the minis life had issues, which were sorted out straight away. Those parts have not been made for over a year, and so wont be in any minis.

I used it on wednesday night with no issues,only selling due to picking up a NXT Shocker tonight,and cant justify having 2 mini's and a shocker.
