Changing a thread title

I'm trying to change the title of a sales thread to show new items added.
I edit it, use advanced and change the title but the title doesn't change in the forum thread list.
Am I doing something wrong?

You can only change it yourself within 24hrs, after that changes can only be done at a higher level
