This poll is not to find out who the best player in the UK is.
It's to find out who you, the members of PGI - Online, think is the best player in the UK is.
There is a big difference there and people should accept this poll for what it is, just a members vote and therefore subjective.
If you think that this poll can actually determine who the best player in the Uk, you have my sympathies

so the only way to decide is like a one on one knockout with no coaching that will test the INDIVIDUAL to get an official result, whatever the result to this thread,
Pebble
Although cool to watch, that is a stupid idea as that wouldn't show you the best Paintball player, it would show you the best at 1on1's!
Tournament Paintball is played (currently) 5on5, so the best players will be able to shine consistantly in that format against top teams. Look at the best football players, they don't need to prove themselves in 1on1's, or free kick comp's to be the best; they are recignised as great players for what they are.

In my eyes, there is no way a guy that has never played Pro can be considered the best player in the UK, it'd be like a championship player being called the best football player in the UK. People and his piers will not take that seriously until he has proved himself at the top level.

Part of being the best player surely has to do with taking critisism on the chin and not rising to it. Everyone has oppinions, doesn't mean you have to like it.
This isn't all aimed at you pebble, just more in general for everyone taking this too seriously.
Anyway, Ya'll know nothing ;) Colby is the killer

As far as I am aware non of these players play pro, as we don't have any pro teams in this country and having "played" pro previously may have no bearing either as those players may not be as good now as they were then.
Therefore most of the guys in this list are relatively the same level, but at the end of the day it's the voting members who decide.
The industry does not really acknowledge the individual, like in other sports, no reason why the PGI members can't though.

What are you talking about? Playing Pro is a term used to describe playing in the Pro division, which in europe is currently the CPL. Over the years from what i have seen in paintball that is how it has always been described. Who cares if they aren't getting paid for it? None of them are saying they are! They are playing against the toughest competition in Europe and surely thats what matters.
Of course the industry acknowledges individuals - look at advertisement both online and physical, many bear players faces or names.
Don't get me wrong, im all for the vote. It's just good to keep things in perspective.

If that is your definition of Pro, I have no issue with that.
I'm ol' skool so Pro means Professional

Worldwide, but not at UK level
