Want to film in HD at Campaign

Hi peeps.

I have a mate with a pro HD movie camera.

Wondering what the chances of filming at Campaign would be?

At the moment, it's only to test it out etc as he has no paintball knowledge and I think someone is already filming Campaign.

Anyway, would any of the Campaign big knobs, be able to tell me if he would be allowed to wander around with the camera, I should be there as well, or are there limitations etc governing it?

I have suggested to him that many people would probably appreciate HD footage of tournaments, teams etc and so I suggested he come along to Campaign, to see what it's all about.

TBH, if you or your mate are wandering around with a palm sized DV cam then it shouldn't raise an eyebrow.

However, if its something like Canon's HA or XL cams then yes, you might well attract the attention of the organisers.

If you're friend is walking around the safe areas like this then this is normally accepted but to get access to the fields will be a no-no unless you contact Lars and get his OK. He has a responsibility to the media partners who pay (in one form or another) for coverage.

Yeah, this is what I expected it to be Spike.

Hopefully we will have a mooch around, maybe some candid footage etc..could be a giggle.
