I have been shooting since I was 5.
Went to pure rush on my 18th Birthday and have been hooked on it ever since.

I like paintball, but it has nothing to do with my gun addiction.anyone from a shooting background or just started with paintball, interested to hear how people got into paintball, as i got into it cos i like shooting any sort of guns, air rifles, shotguns, anything
This is a misunderstanding many peole have. Many paintballer never had real gun in hand.
We shoud not drag real firearms into this forum as there are many kids who visit the site.
You wanna talk about real guns go to shooting clubs forum.

WTF has kids got to do with it ? my kids go on this forum! so whats going to happen ? its not a specific gun or firearm,its just a background question. Because if kids hear about guns their eyes will fire bullets at all their classmates and then their heads will explode.
I used to go shoot handguns with my dad and bro when I was younger (back in LA) but that has nothing to do with why I play paintball. It might have something to do with why people like to dry-fire their markers excessively though "Look at me, I'm shooting my gat!!"

tbh if theyre inspired to go shoot up a school because someone reminded them they use paintball "guns" every other weekend, then their mental health should be in question.
I used to love target shooting with the CCF at school, especially the proper scoped rifles, but getting in to paintball was completely different.
