Yeah, 12.5 is a bit too low. I would say 14. They set them at 16 at the Factory as it helps with removing any running in problems, especially with our mainly cold climate and tight new guns.Up the dwell to 16 lower the HPR to attain desired velocity.

The SL74 I won on the JB raffle came with a dwell of 12.0 / rammer flush.
I could not believe the amount of kick it had and rolled with it based on the fact it came from a pro so must be setup to perfection
I upped the dwell to stock (14.5 on SL74??) and lowered the hpr to get a sensible velocity and it felt like a different marker in terms of kick, smoothness and efficiency. (Left lpr flush)
