yer better barrle to boar and a better hopper that shouldent chop then
should it?
Well...markers chop, because the bolt comes forward before a ball is full seated in the breech.
It could be because it is a Vert feed and the ball is blown up the feed neck by "blowback" or bouncing back up the neck, which is why side feeds and off centre feeds like Ego's came about.
Or, the marker has no eyes and fast trigger, combined with a hopper that cannot keep up with the rate of fire, so the ball isn't in, before the bolt comes forward.
It can be down to too tight a barrel.
Also, if a force feed hopper pushes too hard on the ball stack, it fractures the ball, then when it is fired, it blows the ball apart. Thought this is not a chop as such, but a barrel break and normally would leave paint in the barrel but not the breech.
